Woodland Garden, Bristol

This has been home for thirty years to a couple who show no signs of slowing up but instead are now finally getting around to revamping the garden! Both are keen gardeners, with backgrounds in zoology and marketing, and know their onions when it comes to plants and wild life.

Items required were a water feature, a gazebo and a new glass house, together with new planting and places to sit and contemplate life.

They wanted to keep a formal lawn but as the garden has Leigh Woods as a back drop I thought it would be lovely to draw the woodlands into the garden, and let the lawn be edged with woodland style planting to give it a seamless feeling.
